Bonnie, 78, of Crawford, NE died Friday Dec. 19 at the Ponderosa Villa. She was an independent, self-contained, giving, passionate, creative, loving, God-fearing, feisty, Midwest women. She deeply loved her family & friends with everything she could give. Bonnie was a single child, born to Aaron & Eva Goble on Jan. 8th, 1936 in Graham County, Kansas. Growing up she, moved from town to town due to her dad's job. At the age of 18, following her parents' unfortunate death, she moved to Denver to stay with her Aunt & Uncle. Here, she put herself through a 2 year business college and soon became a secretary at a Denver architect firm. On a weekend road trip to the rodeo in Crawford, she met a young sailor who was home on leave named Donald. Years later on Dec, 28th, 1963 she married, Donald Dean Walden, the love of her life. They eventually settled in San Diego, CA where they raised two boys Curtis Lee & Clint Roy Walden. In 1993 Don & Bonnie returned for the easy life and retirement in Crawford, NE. Her passions were family, friends, cooking, dancing, laughing, and many forms of arts & crafts, including oil painting, jewelry, and handmade Christmas ornaments. For those that knew & loved her will never forget the warm & fun-loving spirit she shared with all. In addition to Donald, Curt, & Clint, she also survives her two wonderful grandchildren, Brianna & Aaron Walden. The family suggests memorials to the Crawford Historical Society & the Crawford Rescue Unit. Donations may be sent to Chamberlain Chapel, PO Box 970, Chadron, NE 69337
