Wyman Lloyd Nemecek was born December 6, 1923 to George and Ella Bain Nemecek in Cleveland County Oklahoma. He passed away October 12, 2018. He attended Noble Public School and graduated in 1942. He was active in FFA, showing sheep, receiving numerous ribbons including a Grand Champion. Wyman enlisted into the US Army Air Corp in 1943 and served in the Pacific Theatre as a tail gunner in a B-24 Liberator, flying 43 missions as a staff sergeant. Following his service, he attended Oklahoma A & M on the GI Bill where he met the love of his life, Helen Scherer. They were married in Stillwater, Oklahoma on July 30, 1947. To this union, there were six children, Rebecca (Becky), Elizabeth (Beth), Bonita, William (Bill), Robert (Bob), and Bruce, the six "B's". Wyman is survived by his children, 14 grandchildren, and 32 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife Helen, his parents, and 7 siblings. Memorials can be sent to Chamberlain Chapel in Chadron.
