Tim was born in Roundup, Montana on March 23, 1967. The oldest child of Donald and Lilah Kicker. He grew up in rural Melstone, helping his dad at the sawmill and logging. He and his cousin Barney had their own fence post business during high school. He graduated from Melstone High School in 1985, and then attended and graduated from Frontier School of the Bible, in LaGrange, Wyoming, where he met and married his wife Laura Kruger (of Gordon, NE) on August 1, 1987. Tim and Laura made their home in Chadron, Nebraska where they were married for 30 years and had three kids of their own. He worked for Wahlstrom Ford in Chadron for nearly 30 years and developed many wonderful friendships. Tim loved his job and was loved by many for his friendliness. He was will known and liked for his quirky sense of humor and "Dad" jokes. Time loved his family and spending time with them. He loved the outdoors and enjoyed many camping, hunting, and fishing trips with his family and friends. He had a life-long love of guns and hunting and was able to open his own gun shop on top of running his own dent removal business and managing the shop at Wahlstrom Ford. With all of this going on he has still never missed an important family event and has been an excellent husband/brother/father and son.
Tim will be missed by all, but especially his wife Laura of Chadron, his son Lyle of Minot, ND, his daughter Karalee of Cody, WY, his son Keith of Chadron, his mother Lilah of Billings, MT, sister Katie (Dalen) Keeney of Melstone, MT, sister Kari (Jason) Christensen of Arthur, NE, many in-laws, cousins, nieces and nephews.
Tim was preceded in death by his grandparents and his dad.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established for Chadron Berean Church in Tom's Honor.
