Susanne Evans

Susanne Evans was born to John and Reva Evans in Rushville, Nebraska on May 15, 1935.

She joined her Lord on December 9, 2024, at Gordon Countryside Care.

She graduated from Gordon High School in 1952 and attended the University of Nebraska and graduated with a degree in Music Education. Her life revolved around music, golf, cars, cats, and Nebraska Husker football. She was also a die-hard New England Patriots fan.

She was a member of the Episcopalian Church and was a devoted Christian. She was one of the church organists.

She was an independent, fun-loving woman and a friend to many.

Elementary students will lovingly remember Miss Evans for Arthur the Autoharp and Sam the Phonograph.

She will be mourned by a brother, Morris, a nephew, Mike (Shannon) and two great nieces, plus many friends.

Her memorial service will be held Friday, December 20 at 1:00 p.m. at St. Leo’s Catholic Church. If possible, wear Nebraska Huskers clothing.
