Ruth Schwarz

Memorial services for Ruth Schwarz, 74, of Chadron, Nebraska will be held on Friday, May 1, 2015 at 10:00 AM at Chamberlain Chapel in Chadron with Pastor Fred Grant officiating. Inurnment will be at the Gordon Cemetery at 2:00 PM. A reception will be held after the burial at the Seventh Day Adventist Church, 501 N. Oak St. Gordon, Nebraska. Ruth passed away on March 23, 2015 at her home in Chadron. Ruth was born on March 9, 1941 in Baltimore, Maryland to Richard and Muriel Kemp. She was a registered nurse and worked at a hospital in Ontario, Oregon. In her years of nursing, she also worked as a practical nurse and a rehab nurse. Ruth had three sons, Matt, Doug, and Greg Holloway. On June 27, 1987, Ruth married Brad Schwarz in northern Nevada. Ruth was a member of the Sandhills Amateur Radio Klub also known as the SHARKS. She also enjoyed knitting, crocheting, and was very good at transplanting flowers. Ruth is survived by her husband Brad; Sisters, Helen Boyd, June Kemp, Debbie Boling, and Jo Ahrends; Brothers, Jim and Richard Kemp; Sons, Matt and Doug Holloway; six grandchildren and two great great grandchildren. A memorial has been established for the Crazy Horse Memorial. Donations may be sent to Chamberlain Chapel, PO Box 970, Chadron, NE 69337.�½�½
