Memorial services for Pamela M. Caswell of Chadron, Nebraska will be held on Friday, June 20, 2014 at 10:00 AM at Chamberlain Chapel in Chadron with Dr. Russ Seger officiating. Pamela M. Caswell of Chadron, NE passed away on June 16, 2014 at her home in Chadron. She was 69. Pamela Marie Caswell was born in Chadron Nebraska August 27, 1945 to LeRoy and Ruth (Betts) Jones and spent most of her life in the Chadron area. She married Bill Johnson Sr in 1960 and unto that union Bill Johnson Jr. was born. Pam spent many years in the V.F.W. Auxiliary and worked at the county fair for numerous summers. She enjoyed helping the residents of Dawes County. Survivors include husband John Caswell Jr. of Chadron; mother Ruth Christensen of Chadron; sister, Christi (Pat) Hilliker of Hay Springs and niece Paige Schartz of Fort Collins, CO; Son, Bill (Lori) Johnson of Torrington, Wyoming; grandson Dan; granddaughter Shanae; step granddaughter Ann along with several great grandchildren and special friend Russ Garner of Crawford. She was preceded in death by her father LeRoy Jones and her step father Don Christensen. "She was the jewel of my life and will be missed." - John Caswell Jr. A memorial has been established.
