Norma Jean (Schmidt) Rawhouser was born on March 11, 1929, to William and Bonnie (Francis) Schmidt, in Crawford, NE. The family lived on a farm on the "Table" until Norma was age 9. In 1939, the family moved to the town of Crawford. She graduated from Crawford High in 1946, and attended Chadron State College for 2 years. In 1948, she married Charles William Rawhouser and 2 sons were born to this union, Mack and William (Billy). Norma loved bowling, playing golf and bridge.
She is survived by sons Mack, with his wife Ruth of Big Piney, WY, and Billy of Crawford, NE; 3 grandchildren, Charlie and wife Mindi Rawhouser of Rock Springs WY, Katy Rawhouser of Lincoln NE, and Tony Rawhouser of Enid, OK; 4 great grandchildren, Madison, Kinsley, Brayden, and Patrick; nieces Nancy Fegan and Linda Macky; and nephew David Hedberg.
Norma was preceded in death by her husband Charles William Rawhouser, her parents William and Bonnie Schmidt, her brother, Sam Schmidt, and sisters, Betty Edwards and Gretchen Hedberg.
