Myrna Pelren

Myrna Faith Pelren, passed away unexpectedly on November 9 at her home in Crawford, Nebraska. She was born on November 20, 1939 on the pineridge, Nebraska about 18 miles south of Crawford to Ralph and Fern Miller. Myrna was the valedictorian of the 1957 graduation class of Crawford High School and worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant at the Crawford Hospital. She married Jack Pelren on January 25, 1958. Myrna was an avid reader, loved cinnamon rolls, and loved being in the country. During her time, she established a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. She was a Godly example to her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, and all who knew her. Survivors include her husband Jack of 56 years of Crawford, a sister, Betty Brauer of Manchester, Iowa; a brother, Dale Miller of Van Tassel, Wyoming; a daughter, Kathy (Scott) Smith of Cheyenne, Wyoming; a son-in-law, Don of Reno, Nevada; five grandchildren, Chad Smith of Lakewood, CO, Chad Smith of Lakewood, CO, Chris Smith (Lisa) of Greenwood, IN, Kathy Redmon, Beth (Josh) Stoycoff, and Rebecca Lundgren all of Reno, NV, and seven great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, a sister Ruth, and a daughter, Laurie.
