Mark Singer

Mr. Singer passed away on August 16, 2014 at Box Butte General Hospital in Alliance. Mark was born on April 12, 1956 in Oakland, California to Alma and Seymore Singer. Mark joined the Navy and was in the service until he was discharged with a medical disability in 1984. Mark attended college, but had to leave due to his declining health. He was a member of the First Baptist Church and served on various boards and committees. Mark married Genie Hahn on May 24, 1986 in Carlton, Nebraska. He is survived by his wife Genie Singer, Mother Alma Stairs, Step-brothers Michael Stairs, Ricky Stairs, Steve Stairs, and step sister Donna McCowen. He was preceded in death by his father Seymore Singer. A memorial has been established for the Chadron Volunteer Fire and Rescue Unit.
