Funeral services for 75-year old Linda Darnyll (Nation) Staudenmaier of Harrison, NE will be Saturday, October 15, 2022 at 10:00 AM at Harrison Bible Church in Harrison.
Following the lunch after Linda’s service we will have a burial for both Jim and Linda at the Montrose Cemetery.
Linda Darnyll Staudenmaier was the daughter of the late Elvin & Frances (Locker) Nation. Linda was born on December 23 1946 in Lusk WY. Linda was the oldest of three sisters Melody Nation and Eldonna Nation. In 1966 when Linda and her sister Melody graduated from Sioux County High School her family moved to Marysville, WA. Linda got her Business Associate Degree from Everett Community College. She worked at different jobs until the summer of 1970 when she moved back to Nebraska. Linda worked that summer for Bill Coffee putting up hay. Linda moved to Crawford that fall and worked for Marv and Ruby Rising waiting tables and tending bar. While waiting tables at the cafe she met the love of her life James Staudenmaier.
Jim and Linda were married February 6 1971. In this union three boys were born Justin Earl, Lyle Dean and Charles Elvin. Charles died in infancy. Linda was an EMT for the Harrison Volunteer Fire Department. She was an active member of the Harrison community and loved going to watch the Sioux County Warriors. Linda worked at several restaurants and cafes and never knew a stranger.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband Jim, parents Elvin and Frances, son Charles, and sister Melody
Linda is survived by her sons Justin (Deona) of Harrison NE and Lyle (Heather) of Hemingford, NE. Grandchildren Casey (Mckenzie), Morgan (Kasey), Braden and Aspen. Great Grandchildren Riata, Stockton and Josephine. Sister Eldonna Nation and brother-in-law Steve Fernandez, and many nephews and nieces
