Lila Young

Lila passed away on Sunday, November 29, 2015 at Crestview Manor. She was born September 22, 1927 in Chadron, NE to Clara (Lecher) and Kenneth Kindred. She married Charles Herr and they had four children, Tom, Charles, Ken and Nancy. Following the death of Charles in 1992, she married Charles (Bud) Young in 2000. Bud passed away in 2012. Lila enjoyed her friends, flowers, playing cards and dancing. She is survived by sons, Charles (Tina) of California, Ken of Chadron, daughter Nancy Rasmussen of Texas and daughter-in-law Barb Herr of Illinois, six grandchildren, her great grandchildren, sisters Betty (Don) Conyac , Kay (Bill deceased) Tyree, sister-in-law Wilma DeBoer and numerous nieces and nephews. Extended family, Rodger, Kenneth (Candace) and Robert (Kate) Young and families. Lila was preceded in death by her husbands, Charles Herr and Charles (Bud) Young, brother Kenneth (Bud) Kindred and son Tom. A memorial has been established for Crestview Manor.
