Larry went to be with Jesus 1/30/25 surrounded by his loving family in his home. He was born in Amarillo TX on 8/7/1953 to Ted & Velma Bagneschi. He was the 6th child to a family of 9 kids. Even when he was young, he preferred to be inside helping his mom cook rather than outside helping his dad in the barn and garden. His fondest childhood memories are playing baseball out in the field with his brothers in Box Elder, SD and helping run the riding stables for his family. In 1972 his daughter Brandy was born. He married Cindy Brower in 1977, and they enjoyed 48 years together. Larry and Cindy had four children, Alesha, Dustin, David, and Melonie.
The family moved to Nebraska in 1991 to purchase The Coffee Cup Cafe in Hay Springs, which fulfilled a life-long dream of his. He enjoyed working at Job Corp, Walmart and purchased The Blaine Hotel in 2009. But his most important commitment was his relationship with Jesus, which he made in 1985. He shared the good news with anyone that would listen. He loved to play guitar and write songs. He had several bands and enjoyed going to festivals, jails, nursing homes and homeless shelters to share his music. He loved fishing and camping with his family and friends and was so proud of his “big fish” stories. Larry was a generous man who loved to give and help others in need. He also loved being with his dog Shyloh.
