Kenneth Jay Landreth was born April 7, 1951 to Floyd and Margaret (Shoop) Landreth. He passed away on December 26, 2019 at Rapid City Regional Hospital. He grew up with five brothers and one sister.
Kenny worked most of his life on farms. He also did odd jobs. In 2004 he became ill and was taken to Omaha, NE. He was in the hospital for about a month. When he was able to come home, he did odd jobs around the Rushville area.
He loved to watch his great nieces and nephews when they came down to the house. He was a good fisherman. He and his dad and brothers would go fishing almost every weekend.
He will be missed very much. He was preceded in death by his dad Floyd and uncle Vern Landreth. Kenneth is survived by his wife Patricia of Rushville, daughter Barbara and son Kenneth Lester, mother Margaret Landreth of Rushville, brothers, Elwood of Hay Springs, Jim (Linda) of Rushville, Jerry (Rose) of Rushville, Phil (Katie) of Rushville, Robert (Geri Ann) of Rushville, Lila & Ron Herman of North Carolina, many nieces, great-nieces, nephews and great-nephews.
A memorial has been established and donations may be sent in care of Chamberlain-Pier Funeral Home, PO Box 366, Gordon, NE 69343.
