Kenneth "Buzz" Anderson was born November 19, 1936 in Gordon, NE to Oscar and Christina Anderson. He passed away March 27, 2018 at Countryside Care.
Buzz lived his entire life in Gordon where he farmed on the family farm south of Gordon, first with his father and later on his own. He married DeOnna Matula on June 10, 1956 and to this union two sons were born, Ashley and Shelley.
Buzz loved the country life, raising alfalfa and cattle, terrorizing the neighbors with motorcycles while racing with his sons, shooting pool, playing golf and watching Nebraska and Denver Broncos football. In 1975 Buzz moved his family to town due to health reasons. At this time, he bought the Pit Stop, he also purchased a semi-truck and hauled fuel for Brown Trucking. He sold his truck and purchased the bowling alley and renamed it King Pin Lanes. He later worked for CO-OP where he retired in 2008.
Buzz joins his father Oscar, mother Christina, brothers Leonard and Dick in his heavenly home with the Lord.
Buzz is survived by his loving wife DeOnna, sons Ashley (Gloria) and Shelley (Daneen), grandsons Derek, Broc (Jordan) Jayc & Kyle, great-grandson Braxton, sisters Evelyn Brehm, Helen Finnley, Mildred Dugger and many nieces and nephews.
