Karyl Marie Saxton

Karyl Marie Saxton was born on December 20th, 1939, she was the youngest of three children to Glen and Mabel (Burkitt) Kendrick. She graduated from Crawford high school in 1958. Also in 1958, she married Jack Riggs. She had four kids: Rusty, Serita, Kim and Ty. In 1990, Karyl had married Oren Saxton, and then got to travel all over to enjoy life.

Karyl Marie Saxton passed away on January 23, 2024. Funeral services will be held on January 29th, 2024, at 11:00AM at the Crawford Community Building. The burial will be at the Whitney Cemetery. Reception to follow at the Frontier Restaurant/Bar in Crawford.

Karyl loved spending time with family and friends. She had plenty of hobbies: all kinds of crafts, playing the piano and drums, singing, watching wildlife, and traveling with Desert Reign. 

Karyl will be missed dearly by her family and friends. She had a big heart and a gentle soul. 

She is survived by her children: Sons – Rusty (Lori) Riggs, Ty Riggs, and Darrel. Daughters – Kim (Gary) Rudloff. Sister – Lois Douthit, Brother -Dick (Libby) Kendrick, 12 Grandkids, 26 Great-Grandkids, and 3 Great-Great Grandkids. Many other family members and friends. 

Karyl is proceeded in death by her daughter- Serita Riggs and Great Great- Granddaughter Remi Bietz. Her parents – Glen and Mabel Kendrick, along with other family members and friends.
