Elaine Couger

Elaine Parton Couger, 73, formerly of Patterson, MO and recently of Chadron, entered heaven at home on Tuesday, April 28, 2015, after a courageous battle with COPD. She was surrounded by family and loved ones. She was born to Lawrence and Lola Parton on November 19, 1941. She was retired from Couger Systems of Chadron which she co-owned with her husband Thomas Couger. She touched many lives with her warm smile and encouraging words. She will be deeply missed by many family and friends. Elaine is survived by her husband, the love of her life, Thomas Couger, whom she married on August 15, 1964. She is also survived by brothers, Jerry and Roy Parton, and many nieces and nephews. Her husband requests that in lieu of flowers, to make donations to the American Legion or the American Legion Auxiliary.
