Funeral services for Deloris J. Clutter, 83, of Eaton, Colorado will be held on Monday, June 13, 2016 at 10:00 AM at St. Columbkille Catholic Church in Hay Springs, Nebraska with Father Joseph Joseph officiating. Burial will be at the Hay Springs City Cemetery. A rosary will be held on Sunday, June 12, 2016 at 7:00 PM at the church.
Mrs. Clutter passed away on June 7, 2016 in Gillette, Wyoming.
She was born to John Asa Mills and Gladys Hallsted on December 5, 1932 in Seneca, Nebraska. She received her GED in 1969. She started working in Greeley, Colorado for Hewlett Packard and worked there for 25 years. Deloris married Albert Lee Clutter, and the couple was together for 45 years. To this union 8 children were born.
Deloris was a member of the Red Hats and St. Peter's Catholic Church in Greeley, Colorado. She loved gardening and was a great cook and baker. She also enjoyed canning.
She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Gladys (Hallsted) Mills, her husband Albert Lee, and three children Lawrence, Catherine, and Joseph.
She is survived by her two brothers, Nyle (Mary) Mills of St. George, MN, John Mills of Casper, WY; Children, Karen (James) Winnepenninkx of Giddings, TX, Steven Clutter of Eaton, CO, Teresa Martin of Ft. Collins, CO, Joan Clutter of Greeley, CO, and Albert E. Clutter of Eaton, CO. She is also survived by her eighteen grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren, and four great great grandchildren.
A memorial has been established for St. Columbkille Catholic Church. Donations may be sent to Chamberlain Drabbels Mortuary, PO Box 443, Hay Springs, NE 69347.
