Debra passed away on March 15, 2015 at Swedish Medical Center in Englewood, Colorado. Her life of giving continued after her death with her tissue and organ donations. Deb was born August 3, 1959, to John and Sheila Stumph at Oakland Naval Hospital in Oakland, California. After several years of military service, the family moved back to Crawford and Deb attended elementary and high school in Crawford, graduating in 1977 as her class Valedictorian. Deb met Tom Miller her eighth grade year, and thus began their 41-year love story. Deb and Tom were married February 5, 1978. The couple soon moved to Torrington, WY, where they made their home together. Deb and Tom are the proud parents of Erin, Chris and Spencer Miller. Deb stayed home to raise their children most of their earlier years. In 1997, she decided to attend college and she became a BSN Registered Nurse in 2000. In the years following, Deb held several nursing positions, the most recent as a Home Health Nurse with CRMC in Torrington. Deb was a vibrant, energetic, happy wife, mother, daughter, sister and co-worker. She and Tom spent many hours riding their bicycles on the Mickelson Trail in South Dakota, enjoying being outdoors, and with family. They traveled often, enjoying their lives and always found adventures along the way, as they went on their beach vacations. She loved her work as a nurse and received tremendous satisfaction in the care and help she was able to provide to her patients and their families. She was a gracious host and constantly celebrating her children's birthdays and holidays with all of her family at their home. Deb is survived by her loving husband, Tom Miller; children Erin Miller of Torrington, Chris Miller of Wichita, KS, and Spencer Miller and wife April of Laramie, WY; parents, John and Sheila Stumph; brother Jerry Stumph and wife Lori, all of Crawford; sister, Lori Stromberg and fianc�½, Marty Widener of Gering; and favorite aunt, Nona Hunt of Torrington; of Tom's family, in-laws Melvin and Mary Miller, three brothers in-law, Chuck and wife Veronica of Minatare, Roy and wife Wendy of Custer, SD, Jim and wife Laurie of Crawford; five sisters in-law, Carolyn and husband Mikel Bell of Rapid City, SD; Susan and husband Doug Leeling of Alliance; Valerie Cisneros of Crawford; Laurie and husband Harold Ponserella of Strasburg, CO; and Sandy and husband John Orr of Rushville, and many nieces and nephews. Debra was preceded in death by her grandparents on both sides and her uncle Joel. �½�½
