Dale Myers

Spike Myers, 64, passed away on August 13, 2015 at his home in Chadron after a short illness. Dale was born on April 1, 1951 in Chadron, Nebraska to Robert E. and Lucille E. (Zwiefel) Myers. He lived his formative years in Chadron attending school there. As a young man, he traveled around the United States working various jobs. He returned to Chadron to start his own business in general contracting. Survivors include his partner of 30 years, Dot Simms, Daughter, Dalene Myers of Rapid City, South Dakota; step-daughter Brandi (Jarod) Raymer of Chadron, Nebraska; Grandchildren, Tanner & Jordan Adams of Rapid City, South Dakota, Ashlee (Eric) Anderson of Bridgeport, Nebraska, Courtney Weist & Blaize Simons of Chadron, Nebraska and Destiny (Chris) Galgoci of Hermosa, South Dakota; great grandchildren Donte & Hailey Horn, Aston & Jace Anderson & Waylon Weist Jr. Spike is also survived by his mother Lucille Myers of Chadron; Brothers, Jerry (Karen) Myers of Rapid City, South Dakota, Lewis Myers of Chadron, Nebraska and a special Aunt Lillian King of Moses Lake, Washington and a large extended family and many friends. He was preceded in death by both paternal and maternal grandparents, his father Robert E. Myers and a brother Robert "Butch" Myers. A memorial has been established for the Circle of Light.
