Claire Doxtator

Judith Claire Doxtator (1941-2016) Housewife, mother, died peacefully 10 January 2016 after a long illness at Crestview Nursing Home in Chadron NE. She was born on December 29, 1941 to Rosabelle and H. R. Hooten in Fort Wayne, IN. As a mother, Claire leaves behind her children Edward (spouse Lisa) Doxtator and Elizabeth (spouse Paul) Doxtator-Morenberg, her grandchildren Deborah Larsen, Louis, Bernadette, Solomon, and Frieda, as well as great-grandchild Deanna Jean Larsen. She was predeceased by her parents and brother Tom. Claire was a devoted housewife and mother and worked as the Children's Librarian at the Chadron Public Library. She brought joy to many children, helping them discover the world of reading. During her life in Chadron, she made many life-long friendships that sustained her in her later years. She considered herself fortunate to be surrounded by good friends and family thoughout her life. Services will be scheduled at a later date. Services will be scheduled at a later date.
