Chuck Arthur

Charles E (Chuck) Arthur finished his earthly life on November 2, 2023. Always a believer in the Catholic church and continuing to miss his ‘daddy,’ he was ready to start his new chapter and reunite with friends and family who preceded him. Chuck was a farm boy at heart, purchasing a small acreage after his retirement, which he fondly named “Empty Pocket Acres.” He was a gentleman farmer for a time, raising small herds of cattle for sale and adopting a stray horse that appeared during one harsh winter. That horse became his buddy for many years.

Chuck had more than 36 years in partnership with Fran Whitney, enjoying traveling together and valuing the time spent camping and fishing.

Chuck’s children would like to express warm thanks to everyone who worked to care for him in his last years. Memorial services are scheduled for November 8, 2023, at 11 a.m. at Immaculate Conception Church in Rushville, Nebraska, with interment at Saint Mary’s cemetery following.
