Carol Dotson

Carol Dotson, 78, died June 24th 2018 at her home in Chadron, Nebraska. Her funeral services will be held at 10am on Thursday, June 28th at Chamberlain Chapel, Chadron Nebraska, followed by internment at the Greenwood Cemetery, Chadron. Carol was born on July 11th, 1940 in Torrington, Wyoming to Samuel and Myrtle (Bramwell) Matlock. She married Roger Dotson on May 27th, 1962. They raised 4 children, Don, Robi, Tank, and Mike. Amongst raising her four children, Carol also gave her love and compassion to other children whom she provided care. Carol loved her family dearly. She was a life-long lover of animals, especially their beloved dog Spanky. Spending time with her children and grandchildren brought her immense happiness throughout her life. She is survived by her husband Roger, her sister Jan Maiden of Lake Havasu, Arizona. She is also survived by her four children, Don (Tami) Dotson Chadron, Robi (Mike) Apland, Spearfish SD, Tank (Cyrinthia) Dotson, Omaha, NE, Mike (Susan) Dotson Rapid City, SD and her nine grandchildren Kendra Apland, Jenni Barenberg, Marissa Apland, Eric Dotson, Amanda Dotson, Jack Dotson, Ethan Dotson, Sam Dotson, and Garrett Dotson.
