Brianna Topil

Brianna Topil, 34, passed away on June 29, 2024, surrounded by loved ones in Lincoln, NE. She was born in Tacoma, WA on November 28, 1989 and moved with her family to Gordon, NE when she was five years old.

Although Brianna’s time with us was far too short, she lived a full life with people she loved and spent most of her adult life fulfilling her childhood dream of helping animals. She was in the midst of furthering her education and obtaining her bachelor’s degree in veterinary science.

In her school years she enjoyed being a part of many activities including volleyball, softball, swimming, music, speech and theater. In her spare time she loved playing board games with friends and family as well as spending time in nature. She was a talented artist and poet, and put her heart into everything she did. She held on to her artistic abilities and continued creating artwork and music as an adult.

Brianna was a beautiful soul and an incredible human being. She was caring, funny, sassy, warm, and entirely unafraid of being true to herself and to those she loved. On September 19, 2020 she married her best friend and love of her life, Bailee Topil, and they lived happily together in Lincoln until the time of her passing.

Brianna was preceded in death by her grandparents Joy and Lois Fairhead, Walt and CJ Young, and nephew Jeremiah Young. Brianna is survived by spouse Bailee Topil, parents Brian and Mary Young, siblings Patrick (Stephanie) Young, Ashley (Jacob) Hoffman, and Jesse (April) Young, nephews, niece, aunts and uncles, and many cousins.

A Celebration of Life service will be held at Wellspring Chapel, Gordon NE, on Saturday July 20, 2024, 1:00 PM.
