Bob Nyffler

Robert B. 'Moose' Nyffler Robert 'Bob' Ballard Nyffler, 83, of Rushville, Nebraska, died July 14, 2014 at his home. He was born March 26, 1931, in Rushville, to Bennie and Grace Nyffler. Bob attended and graduated from Rushville High School in 1949. He enlisted in the Army and served during the Korean Conflict. In 1954 he married Margaret Rash of Gordon, Nebraska. They had three children; Teresa, Roy and Tammy. Bob enjoyed fishing, attending auctions, and 'rummaging'. He loved to tell stories and took great pleasure in giving others a hard time and joking around. He is survived by his brother Eugene (Dorothy) Nyffler of Rushville, daughters, Teresa (Michael) Keller and Tammy Hubert both of Rapid City, SD. He was preceded in death by his parents and son Roy Nyffler. Funeral services were held Friday July 18, 2014, 2:00 pm at Chamberlain-Pier Funeral Home with Reverend Al Trucano officiating. Burial with Military Honors will be held at Fairview Cemetery. Visitation will be held prior to the funeral service. Chamberlain-Pier Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
